Aurosan (born Calvin Marie Stowell on May 2 1988 in Claremont, New Hampshire) is an American fratire writer known for chronicling his high school and college escapades on LiveJournal.com and formerly Auro-San.net. Aurosan attends Manhattanville College. At Manhattanville, he amassed a vast number of Facebook friends, leading to a behind-the-scenes role on Big Brother.

Early life and education

Aurosan is the son of Brian Stowell, the president of Crown Point Cabinetry, and Becky "Buckwild" Stowell. He has three brothers -- Cat and Canine, who are twins, and older brother Craig Manning.

Aurosan was infamous on Neopets by the age of 9. When he was 14, Aurosan developed an obsession with Patrick Ewing. Soon afterwards, his father sent him to Vermont Academy, a boarding school in Vermont. It was here that he encountered his current partner, Pat. Although the two were not friends at the time, they would later become band-mates and room-mates. After graduating, Aurosan matriculated at Manhattanville College in Westchester, New York, where he was named Mr. Internet Popularity at the Mr. Manhattanville pageant.

Politics

Aurosan is a registered Republican but claims that he is a moderate and only fiscally involved in the party. He is a supporter of Rudy Giuliani and was seen on C-SPAN alongside Giuliani during a campaign visit to Brian Stowell's cabinet company.

In spite of being a professed moderate, Aurosan is well known in the popular LiveJournal celebrity gossip community, Oh No They Didn't! for being the one of the more conservative posters.

Personal Life

Aurosan's favorite song is "2 Become 1" by the Spice Girls. He is a fan of Smallville, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and The Tyra Banks Show. He is also friends with Foxy Brown's cousin.
