Autism Jersey, is a
Jersey-based

Autism Jersey also assists related professions to achieve the primary goal.
Autism Jersey was established in
June 2005 by a group of parents, all of whom have children with autism, lead by
Philip Le Claire, a dedicated and passionate parent of a 14 year old son with
Asperger's Syndrome, he continues to work alongside founding members
Helen Miles (Chairman), Vice Chairman
Richard Miles (no relation!), Secretary
Sue Pickering, Treasurer
Kevin Bates and fellow
Trustees Linda Scott,

Philip is now the
Executive Director of Autism Jersey, as well as the Branch Officer of the
National Autistic Society Jersey Branch.
Their Offices are located at "The Bridge" (previously St. Marks Primary School) on St. Saviour Hill near the Hotel De France.
Autism Jersey is still a young charity, and although firmly established, is only just starting to make the needed changes to the local
education,
social security,
healthcare,
law enforcement agencies, and other establishments in order to ease the difficulties faced by
people with autism.
However, a number of schemes have already been established, and the charity is working with many other departments and organisations to drive progress towards supporting
people with autism.
Currently Autism Jersey does not have any form of web presence.
However, much work is being done, led by , to plan, develop, and deploy a high quality site which aims to be useful to many types of people affected by
