History

Autodata Solutions was founded in 1990 to create and aggregate vehicle information and to develop software applications for manipulating and displaying the data for automotive OEMs. The initial tools included vehicle configurators and comparators and vehicle designer planning tools. With the rise of the internet, Autodata moved these tool online.[1]

Autodata is headquartered in London, Ontario, employing more than 200, making it one of the larger employers in the region.[2] The company also has an office in Troy, Michigan. In 1999, the company was acquired by Internet Brands.

Products and services
