Average Handle Time (AHT) ( applied typically to call centers)
The time it takes to handle one transaction.
Typically AHT covers talk time, hold time, after call work time( ACW ) and any other categories (AUX) you may wish to designate for tracking of work tasks.
The AHT is an important factor when deciding the staffing levels required for a call center operation.
