Patriotic Activist

Political activist with a passion for changing things for the better in this nation, Avila has spent much of her time, both writing and in action, giving voice to the cause of saving our nation from falling down the slippery slope towards its destruction. She will be remembered as one of those who fought at the barricades when nobody else was willing to pick up the torch. Ask her and she will humbly deny anything great about her writing, actions, passion, or time spent on this mission but her record of actions and words speaks volumes that leave no room for doubt on this fact.

Avila, is the award-winning author of a series of articles on the massacres the U.S. military has brought upon the city of Fallujah, Iraq. She has gained near celebrity status as one of the most passionate members and contributors to the most popular political activist site on the internets, DailyKos. She has also shed light on a number of other vital issues such as the disastrous response to Hurricane Katrina and the devestation that remains to this day. Given her deep convictions over the Iraq War, the failure of Katrina, and other issues, it should come as no surprise that she has also spent much time beating the patriotic drum of IMPEACHMENT.

As someone who sees the criminal nature in which this country has been run in the past 6 years, Avila has taken it upon herself to set up The Impeach Project, a compilation of information and current events associated with the goal of impeaching the current administration's top officials, beginning with George W. Bush. Inspired by the Guerilla Marketing Movement initiated by X KagroX, Avila has made The Impeach Project a one-stop resource for all of your impeachment information, tools, suggestions, tutorials, and discussions. With the passion of her and others involved in this agenda, it's merely a matter of time until IMPEACHMENT becomes part of the accepted collective consciousness in this nation.

Co-Founder of the Anti-TWAC Movement

Not only does she spend time addressing issues that slip through the cracks of the right wing corporate media machine in the United States but she also finds the time to be a leader in the DKos Anti-TWAC movment. She and her partner-in-crime, Dogg, have pioneered the movement to keep the TWAC scourge at bay. In fact, Avila is also the co-coiner of the acronym TWAC, a word that has gained notoriety both for its ambiguity and multiple usage (generally not in a nice, but yet needed, way). Some have claimed to be unduly attacked by the Anti-TWAC Brigade simply because they understood not what the word meant. The meaning is one that can shift and change but, for the most part, it is simply a sound....the sound of your head hitting your desk in exasperation.

Self-coronated Queen of the Royal Kingdom of Infinia

In a chain of events just a couple of months ago, Avila became the newly coronated majestic Queen of the Kingdom of Infinia. She wasn't aware at the time of her self-coronation that there was already a queen but, since learning that, has decided to retain her crown since nobody seems to mind anyway. Never one to shy away from controversy, it was a bold move indeed. That decision has been supported far and wide as evidenced by the lack of even one dissenter to the controversial move. As a testament to the legitimacy of her Infinia Queenhood, U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson, lifetime servant of the people of the U.S. and husband of outted CIA agent Valerie Plame, endorsed her majesty's place in the kingdom at a signing ceremony in Tallahassee, FL in March of 2006.

It is simply amazing that, after all of that, there is still more to say about this patriot but there is and we shall continue.

Front-Page Writer @ Unbossed

Mere weeks ago, being recognized for her passionate style of writing on issues that deserve attention worldwide, she was asked to be a contributing front page writer at the highly regarded Unbossed after being selected for her winning essay "Fallujah: America's Guernica". She wasted no time in showing her stuff, bringing attention to the possible negligent manslaughter of a U.S. soldier whose only crime was injuring his shoulder during basic training.

Comedian of Comedians

With all of her serious passions for change taken into account, the icing on the cake of Avila is the fact that she is one of the funnier people you'll ever read or talk to. She has a brand of humor that is subtle yet in your face but, if you blink, you might miss a laugh riot. From crowning herself Queen of Infinia, to staking out the corners to defend against the onslaught of TWAC attacks, to creating a code that once broken results in nonstop fits of hysterical laughter, Avila has a sense of humor that can't be bought and could hardly be replicated. Conveniently enough, with so much material to work with, she manages to bring to light some of the more ridiculous unintentional humor from the right wing side of things.

So if you see a passionate and extraordinarly beautiful young lady walking down the road, and she all of a sudden stops and screams out " Aziz Ansari is a fucking badass!!", you've probably stumbled upon one of the most action-oriented patriots in this nation, Queen Avila.
