Awafi is one of the most famous desertresorts in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab
Emirates. It is located about 20 KM away from the main city and
it has got a lot of sand
dunes. Every January, the area witnesses a festival supported by
the local government that would include special desert offroading
competitions.
