Azia Kim is an peruser of higher education caught in late May 2007 for posing as a Stanford University freshman student for eight months. Kim graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, California. Before she moved into the Kimball dormitory, she told her roommates Jenssy Rojina and Missy Penna that a housing error had rendered her without a place to reside. Rojina and Penna allowed her to stay in their room temporarily. Kim ended up living in that room after telling the roommates that the room she had been finally assigned had an unsavory roommate. Kim resided with Rojina and Penna for the fall and winter quarters. Fearing discovery about her ruse, Kim moved into the Asian-themed Okada dormitory on April 18, 2007 after a vacancy in a room had presented itself. Kim would hack into roommate Amy Zhou's e-mail account to answer residential advisors investigating whether Kim was really a resident.

Life as a "student"

Azia Kim purchased textbooks and studied for classes she was never enrolled in, and exams she would never take. Yet, her Facebook account stated after every wallpost "(Stanford '10). Additionally, she forged transcripts to join the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) posing as an honor-roll Stanford student.

ROTC Training

During her stay at Stanford, Kim was involved with Santa Clara University’s Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) detachment. Excelling to the top her unit during Cadet Basic Training (also known as CBT), Kim was recommended for Cadet Special Forces, located at Fort Roberts, California.

After the indoctrination period, Kim was assigned to 4th Cadet Group, 2nd Special Forces Operational Detachment-Cadet (2nd SFOD-C).
Cadet Special Force's primary tasks are counter-terrorism and national intervention operations, although it is an extremely versatile group capable of assuming many missions, including, but not limited to, rescuing hostages, raids, and killing covert enemy forces. Their missions similar to those attributed to the British Special Air Service (SAS), on which it was originally modeled.

Her personal awards include the Cadet Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit (three awards), the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), and the Cadet Commendation Medal (three awards with Academic “V”).

Because of her exceptional performance during her tour of duty at Santa Clara's ROTC unit. Kim's commanding officers decided not to press charges.

It is unknown whether or not Kim utilized her training to infiltrate the Okada Dormitory at Stanford University.

Criminal charges

No criminal charges have been pursued against Kim, although it has been estimated by Stanford University that she could have been fined about $42,000 for $175 each day she was trespassing on school property. Whereas Stanford Housing threatened Azia Kim with a daily fine, ROTC labeled her actions as "a harmless prank" and refused to press charges.

Career Opportunities

Having seen her performance on local news channels, a number of Film schools have offered Kim full scholarships based upon her performance at Stanford. The Los Angeles Film School and California Institute of Arts were among the first to offer her admittance, followed by a number of others. Ironically, The Stanford Cinematic School of Arts has offered her admission, however only a half-scholarship was awarded in order to offset the cost of her potential fine.

Quentin Tarantino has already written a 139 page script for Pulp Fiction 2 which stars Kim as the protagonist of a more violent, yet accurate depiction of her 10 month stay at Stanford. It is rumored that New Line Cinema has offered Kim a $15 Million Dollar contract for this roll.

Religious Conviction

In August of 2007, while performing Fiddler on the Roof at the Hollywood Bowl. Kim was allegedly approached by the Flying Spaghetti Monster (also known as the Spaghedeity or FSM) which resembles Spaghetti and Meatballs. According to eyewitness accounts of the abduction, Kim was taken to Pastafarian Heaven, which contains Beer Volcanoes and a Stripper Factory.

Although raised in a strictly Christian family, as most Korean immigrants are, Kim was reluctant to rest her beliefs in the fact that Global Warming is directly related to the decreasing number of Pirates in the last 300 years.
Having Embraced the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Azia conducted her Ragu Baptism and is currently a practicing Pastafarian.
