Azian Vance, mother of Alyx Vance and Wife of Dr.
Eli Vance, lived in
the Black Mesa facility and apparently died in the Resonance
Cascade. She is apparently some kind of scientist though her
field and academic degree are never mentioned. She is never seen in
Half-Life, but is
pictured in a photo in Black Mesa East lab and in a newspaper
clipping on a wall in Dr. Kleiner's Lab in City 17.
