b0g.org is an everything/nothing website. It originated from the b0g hacker group, which released a total of 13 ezines since 2000, including mostly the usual technology-related documentation as well as various mockery of internet culture. Even then a sarcastic undertone and cynical humour was characteristic for the group.

The central part of the website is the Post-section in which about 2-10 pictures, links, movies and pieces of creative writing are being published every day. Each of them is required to be considered interesting by one of the two site maintainers, tress and kradbob. The users of the site then have the possibility to comment on those articles. Posts usually recieve between 20 and 300 comments, which can, like the article itself, be rated.

What makes the website special is the selection of topics and the overall tone of the submissions. "b0g" is a l33t pronounciation for "bog", which is a verb describing the act of eating feces (for example as part of scat pornography). Popular topics include pictures of corpses, videos of people being killed or humiliated, extraordinary acts of self-mutilation as well as diverse content that casts a cynical light on society. Most of the comments are sarcastic and ironic, even though irony isn't usually cleared up and is probably not shared by some members - and most certainly not by most casual viewers following links to to the site. One could consider the whole site an excercise in creative trolling and political incorrectness, or alternatively as an accumulation of worryingly angry, well educated young adults. Amongst the most popular articles rank the video of two men burning a cat alive and the execution video of Nick Berg.

Part of website is also the Forums section, which mainly includes submissions that weren't deemed worthy of article status by their authors. Additionally there's a game called post bump, in which one has to make regular entries in a timely fashion to get a maximum amount of points. Since 2004 b0g also includes the section photoshop, in which regularily a picture is proposed for creative image manipulation. There also exists an IRC channel on Undernet that is frequented by some of the regulars.

A number of inside jokes exist. However they are mostly ever-changing through a natural symbiosis of trolling tactics, the watchful eyes of tress and regular members spending all too much heart and time on the website.

Because of its offensive nature and b0g's history as the homepage of a hacker-mockery group, downtimes of varying duration occur from time to time if not regularly.

The page improved after e~ left(a female member who tried to sabotage b0g and cause wars) after other members found out that she was really fat and had sent people pics of herself which weren't her at all.
