B3D is the name of an internet-movie rendering program named after its development company, Brilliant Digital. B3D ran various advertisements and short movies based on its skinned wireframe polygonal models. The program is seen as spyware because of its tendency to send information about its users back to its programmers to sell.

Currently, the website has four 'channels', each based on a certain show. Choose Your Own Nightmare, Kiss, Gravity Angel, and Ace Venture. Previous Channels have included Xena: Warrior Princess. Generally, Channels have episodes, with multiple parts. Each episode is a stand-alone story. The viewer makes choices that influence what happens next, though some are 'false choices', also known as 'communist choices.' For instance, in Xena: Warrior Princess, no matter what happens, the same basic events take place. Xena wins no matter what. This is especially obvious during one webisode, where she faces a riddle by the Cerebrus, and the viewer must pick a head. No matter what head is picked, Xena has the right answer. (It is a trick question.)

Other 'channels', such as Choose Your Own Nightmare, based on the books of the same name, have a higher level of interactivity. In this, there are multiple endings, generally consisting of many endings where the player dies, a few endings where the player escapes, and one "True" ending where he recieves the full story, and escapes unscathed. Night of the Werewolf and Bite of the Vampire slightly break this.
