BATracer is a free browser based webgame similar to some online management games.
It was originally started in
2000 but it was only released in its current form in
2006.
It simulates races with registered users racing instead of the usual driver line-up.
About
BATracer is a free browser-based racing manager game unlike any other!
You play as the driver, and get to setup your car, work with your team mates, share data and determine strategies.
The detail in the race results and race replay is staggering, with graphs and maps all served from a browser with no need for plugins.
F1, BTCC and Indycars are the current carsets with more being added.
Cars and helmets can be painted either using the built in selector or by uploading a custom image.
Public or private custom games supported.
This game is based around fun and accessibility rather than overloading the player with stats.
However, at the same time a deep race simulation lurks underneath.
Highly popular community with both hard core and casual players.
