BBC East Midlands is the BBC English Region covering Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Rutland.

Television

BBC East Midlands's television output consists of the flagship regional news service East Midlands Today, the topical magazine programme Inside Out and a 20-minute opt-out during the weekly Politics Show.

A football magazine show, Late Kick Off, is co-produced with BBC Midlands.

Radio

The region is the controlling centre for BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC Radio Derby and BBC Radio Leicester.

On weekdays, the three stations carry local programming between 5am and 7pm before joining together for specialist music shows between 7pm and 9pm. The Late Show, produced from Nottingham on weekdays, is also simulcast with most stations in the BBC Midlands region (the exceptions being BBC WM and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire) between 9pm and closedown at midnight. The stations also simulcast on weekend evenings (with the exception of BBC Radio Derby on Sunday nights).

Other services

BBC East Midlands also produces regional news & local radio pages for Ceefax and local BBC Where I Live websites for each county.

Studios

The regional headquarters and television centre is in London Road, Nottingham with local radio studios and television bureaux also located in St. Helens Street, Derby and St. Nicholas Place, Leicester.
