Survey on BBC Radio was launched on Christmas 1991 at 12:59, the time when Santa Claus is delivering gifts and the only closedown on Survey on BBC Radio was on the launch day and then went on to be the 24 hour radio channel, although, music only broadcasts between 02:00 to 06:00 (April 15 Star: 02:20) and then Survey Breakfast.
On October 3, 1997 Survey on BBC Radio closed down but by 07:00 on October 4, 1997 with a new logo saying BBC Radio Survey and sets to a new breakfast show on BBC Radio Survey, which was one hour and was now known as Radio Survey Breakfast.
