Biography
Jad and Dom deejayed and make electronic music
together. Dom already being a talented keyboardist playing in jazz
bands for several years laid the foundation. Jad then recruited his
sister Temma for vocals. The last piece of the puzzle was their
friend Dane on guitar. The live indie dance group that is BMX was
born. After 3 months BMX has caused a bit of hype. Having played 3
support slots with Modular's Van She and a support slot with the
much talked about buzz band Ladyhawke (also signed to modular)
coming up, alot is happening. Bmx has also showed huge gains on
triple J's unearthed. At one stage they had 2 songs in the top 10,
and the number 1,2 and 3 spot in the Dance charts. The songs "Theme
to Bmx" and "War" have both had airplay on triple J. War was played
by Cameron from Architecture in Helsinki showing people in the
industry are really starting to recognise the little known BMX. BMX
also feature on Sydney's FBI radio station where they have had an
live interview
