BOB are a Welsh-language punk rock band formed in early 2004.

Early days - Present

The band was originally conceived sometime in June 2003, featuring original members Sion Owen on guitar, Marsli Owen on bass and Dafydd Nant on drums alongside various friends and fellow musicians with whom they wrote some of the original songs. The line-up varied over the months as the core members wrote and rehearsed together, and in early 2004 the band would decide to take the music to the next level by recruiting legendary Welsh guitarist Sion Porn. At this point Sion Owen would become the band's lead vocalist.

They began playing gigs (locally at first) to much acclaim, earning themselves radio play and more widespread offers around North and South Wales. In 2005 they released their first single, 'Defaid' - which [Radio 1] DJ [Huw Stephens] would call the 'single of the year'1 Between 2005 and 2007 they were filmed for Welsh-language Television series Bandit playing songs Celloedd, Defaid, and Dawnsio I'r Un Hen Guriad.

By late 2007, the band lost momentum due primarily to drummer Dafydd Nant's invovlement with Sibrydion.
