Plot Summary

Johnny went to his grandmother's house to enjoy her fine cooking, and she prepared her delicious lemon cake for her wonderful family. Unfortunately, Grandma made a terrible mistake on that sunny afternoon; she gave away a magical little gift to her grandson and her granddaughters. Afterward, the children disappeared from their grandmother's dining table, and she felt extremely sad because her grandchildren never returned on that night. Where did Johnny and his sisters go? Luckily, they found a strange little city that was out of this world.

What are your fond childhood memories of weird candies? Did you come home from school, dash to the corner store, and buy the latest candy and junk food fad from your era? Let’s face it, we all fell victim to those no-name companies that produced countless numbers of mysterious scientific experiments that sweetened or soured our taste buds for generations and generations to come. Now, imagine that you’re 10 years old again, you wake up, and you discover that you’re stranded in a different city that’s far from home. This is no ordinary city. This is a town that has found a way to artistically decorate their humble abodes-not with paint and modern architecture-but with their favorite candies and junky snacks. Oh joy! David E.
