Baana Kaathadi (Tamil: பாணா; English: Kite) is a forthcoming Indian Tamil film written and directed by Badri Venkat and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film stars Prasanna, newcomers Adharvaa, son of actor Murali and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles, while the music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was launched on 9 March 2009 at AVM Studios and will release in 2010.

Production

On 9 March 2009, the film's launch took place at AVM Studios in Vadapalani in Chennai, which was attended by the entire cast and crew and other prominent film personalities like actor Murali and director S. A. Chandrasekhar.^[1] Movie is nearing completion and is expected to be a Summer release.
