Babz Chula, formerly Babs Chula, (b. March 22, 1946 in Jamaica, New York as Barbara Zuckerman) is a Canadian resident actress.

Biography

Born and raised in Jamaica, New York,[3] as of 2005 Chula resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. Awarded Artistic Achievement Award by the Vancouver Women in Film Society in 1995 [1]

In 2008, a group of actors and artists in Vancouver created the[4] which is raising money for Chula's cancer treatment.

Acting career

Chula became a popular young star through her role in the Canadian film My American Cousin. She won acclaim for her community spirit, continuing to act in independent Canadian films while engaging in an acting career in Hollywood.[5]
