Bad Attitude Radio is a listener-supported, commercial free, internet radio station that plays heavy metal music through web-only mp3 streams.<br />

It is run from Kewaskum, WI, U.S.A.

Users are required to use either Winamp, Windows Media Player, or RealPlayer software to receive the stream to their computer. It currently offers a bitrate quality of 128kbps and 24kbps (ideal for dial-up users.)<br />

Bad Attitude Radio offers listeners a way of requesting songs from an extensive playlist that contains many subgenres of heavy metal music , including Death metal, Thrash metal, Power metal, and Doom metal.

Registered users can also participate in an internet forum with various topics geared toward fans of metal music in general and classic metal in particular.<br />

The station is licensed by SWCast Network, Inc., ASCAP, and BMI to play and promote music on the internet legally. (see Music licensing)<br />

Bad Attitude Radio has been granted the golden web award 3 times over the years and is supported buy several record companies including Sonic Age Records and Cult Metal Classics. Bad Attitude Radio also host one of the largest Band Bio listings in the Heavy Metal community.

Bad Attitude Radio supports and plays independent and unsigned artist giving them a chance to get the exposure that they deserve. Their playlist contains over one terabyte of music making it one of the largest playlist on the web today.
