Badmonkey is one of the hosts of The Asylum as well as his own Jam Sessions and The Badmonkey Show on ThereIsNoRadio.com. He has also worked with former WJFK-FM shows The Hideout and Ron and Fez.

The Hideout

Soon after graduating from Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Badmonkey was hired by the school and found himself teaching various technical radio and television classes. It was at CSB that he met El Jefe, who was then working for WJFK-FM in Washington, D.C. doing a Saturday night show with J-Dubs called The Hideout. Badmonkey started doing the website for The Hideout show and found himself spending more and more time at WJFK. Not long after Badmonkey joined Jefe and Dubs, The Hideout moved from the weekends to a weekday evening slot. Badmonkey officially joined the guys as an intern for awhile. He filmed all their stunts and edited the videos for their website. After about a year and a half, The Hideout moved to WTKS in Orlando, Florida. The Hideout guys and Badmonkey still remain good friends and occasionally Badmonkey still contributes to their shows.

RadioBBQ

Badmonkey started at RadioBBQ during his Hideout days. Dan Wright contacted him and offered to let him do a show on RadioBBQ. Badmonkey joined RadioBBQ and started doing the RadioBBQ website and backing Dan up running the station. He was involved in several shows on RadioBBQ including The Asylum, Solitary, and The Triple-F Power Hour starring Ogre of Ogresville.

The Asylum

Badmonkey grabbed DizzyDog and started a 2hr Sunday night show called The Asylum on RadioBBQ in the fall of 2004. The two of them continue to be the main voices of the show but they keep hinting at rumors of bringing new people aboard. Ogre's first appearance on RadioBBQ was as Janitor John on The Asylum. After Big O and Dukes were given the Hideout's Saturday night replay slot, The Asylum moved to Saturday nights 7-10pm. They've had some interesting guests including "The Osama Bin Laden Finding Team" and Joey Green the Wacky Uses Guy

Solitary

After a few weeks of doing The Asylum, Badmonkey and DizzyDog decided to extend the show 3hrs just incase. Dizzy didn't hang for the 3rd hour initially so Badmonkey started playing punk rock and talking news/politics during that hour. That didn't last long before Badmonkey took Solitary into an 8-10p slot Monday-Friday. That morphed into a 7-10pm slot Mon-Wed-Fri and finally into a 5hr show on Fridays.

Jam Sessions

Jam Sessions is a 3hr music show from 4pm-7pm where Badmonkey digs deep into his CD collection. Evidently they don't teach you how to pick similar music at broadcasting school. He is constantly going from hardcore punk rock to reggae or hiphop with nothing in between to smooth it out.

The Badmonkey Show

The Badmonkey Show airs every Friday on ThereIsNoRadio from 7-10pm right after Jam Sessions. Badmonkey still does some politics but has expanded into trashing pop tarts and other media morons. It takes some turns into [hot talk] and is entertaining enough while your waiting for The Indigo Kitchen or Dan Wright Live to start.

ThereIsNoRadio

Eventually Dan Wright decided he just wanted to do his show without having to deal with the hassles of actually running a radio station. Most of the RadioBBQ DJ's transitioned into ThereIsNoRadio, a new station run by Badmonkey.
