A bagle hound, also spelled bagel hound, is crossbred version of the basset hound and the beagle.

Appearance

As a puppy, they resemble an elongated beagle. As they age, they very slightly favoring a basset hound in body shape and size, and tend to be marked like a beagle, although there are some examples of the breed with basset coloring. They tend to have a beagle like face. They have short dense boned legs good for digging and getting that ultra sensitive nose close to the ground to hunt.
