Ball Revamped is a series of games developed by John Cooney in Macromedia Flash Versions MX And 8, and is sponsored by Armor Games, which was previously known as Games of Gondor.

Gameplay

The hero of the game is an unnamed ball. Its appearance is like that of a beach ball, with the colors green, blue, purple, and red, with the exception of Ball Revamped 3: Gemini where it is black, but seems sort of "inside out", if you will. The player is to maneuver the ball through passages with the arrow keys toward the exit in each level. The ball immediately "dies" upon touching a wall, object, enemy, or enemy projectile. The player has an infinite number of lives; however, each death forces the player to restart on the beginning of a level wasting valuable time. The goal is to get the lowest amount of seconds possible in completing the game; the number of deaths is also counted. In Ball Revamped 2: Metaphisik, Ball Revamped 3: Andromeda, and Ball Revamped 3: Gemini, both the time taken and number of deaths are factored into the player's score. It has been released on the creator's website that there will be a Ball Revamped 4: Amplitude. The first twenty levels of Ball Revamped: 4 have been released as a sneak peek at what's to come. The final version, with 2 gameplay modes: side-scroller, and non-side-scroller, is expected to be released on february 4th 2005, with a level editor included.
