Bam's Unholy Union was a TV series that aired on MTV and MTV Canada. It follows Bam Margera and his fiancee Missy Rothstein as they plan their wedding (which occurred on February 3, 2007[1]). In addition to Bam and Missy, the show features several members of the CKY Crew. The show was primarily filmed in and around West Chester, Pennsylvania, with visits to Delaware, Detroit, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City and Palm Springs. Bam's parents, April and Phil Margera, also appear in the show. Bam's uncle Don Vito does not make regular appearances due to MTV's concerns about his legal problems, stemming from sexual assault charges in Colorado in August 2006.[2] Although he did attend Bam's wedding, he is only seen in the background on one shot.
The show ran for 9 episodes,[2] Bam has mentioned that MTV has approached him about a second season, however no other word has been announced as of June 2009.[3] Bam has mentioned several times on Radio Bam that MTV wants to set-up a staged pregnancy and Bam and Missy have to act like it's actually happening, even though it's not in real life.[4]
The release of the DVD for the show was delayed contrary to the previously planned date of June 12 but was released in Region 2 on October 22, 2007.[5] Margera has also said that it has been released in Australia as well.[6] On September 4, 2009, Amazon.com made the DVD available exclusively through their Amazon Video on Demand service.[1]
