Bandit Hunters is a dating sim game written, developed and published by Segata Sanshiro.
The release date is currently unknown, and much of the story is being kept under wraps, seeing as how development is still in progress, but it is rumored to be released for the Xcubestation 2 in late 2010.
Gameplay
The gameplay of Bandit Hunters resembles that of a dating sim, only your goal is to throw naked men and women.
If they explode, they're not the one for you.
If they hit the ground, time to perform CPR using The Touch and bring him/her back to life.
That's a keeper!
In the game, you are able to choose from two characters.
Balthier von Awesome - Dude.
It's Balthier.
And he's VON AWESOME!
Self-Insert McNeo - It's you!
Travel the galaxy and save planets, mack on the local ladies or men, and leave for the next planet!
Watch out for Donkey Kong though.
Those barrels are hard to beat!
Plot
There's a plot?
Oh, okay.
The person you eventually find is actually a squirrel in disguise.
The squirrel gnaws your eyes out and then leaves.
GOOD END.
Characters
A wide variety of
non-player characters appear in the game.
Dahlia Hawthorne - If you happen to encounter this character, it is an automatic game over, as she will poison your character, causing instant death.
Joachim Valentine - Should you meet this character, you will get the Gay Ending, in which your character becomes a gay vampire and lives happily ever after with his new lover.
Kamina - Being lucky enough to encounter this character will give you the ultra rare Epic Ending, as well as a pair of Kamina Glasses to wear in New Game Plus mode.
James T.
Kirk - Although unconfirmed, it is rumored that this character will allow you access to Shatner Mode, which basically allows you to get the super-secret Harem Ending.
Drizzt Do'Urden - An uncommon character to meet, encountering Drizzt rewards you with the Overused Badass ending, in which you become a total badass that the ladies and, well, everyone else love, but don't expect a moment of rest over the next 37 sequels that are comin' down the pipe.
Prince of Space - Your weapons are useless against him; in fact, you've got some stones to mess with him.
Fortunately, he likes you very much, so you'll get the Boot Blacking Ending.
Shinji Ikari - Being unfortunate enough to meet Shinji gets you the Whiny Emo Bitch ending.
Go away, nobody likes you.
Ator - How much Keefe is in this game?
Miles O'Keefe!
Encountering Ator gets you the Tolkien Couldn't Follow This Plot ending, complete with sashaying villain.
Godot - Meeting this character does not end the game or give you a special ending, but merely gives you the ability to throw coffee at other characters while cool theme music plays.
Stinkmeaner - Meeting this character provides another unique Game Over, as it causes your character to have a Nigga Moment, which means that they flip out and kill people, ending in their arrest and incarceration.
Jack Evergrey - If you are unfortunate enough to encounter this character, you cannot end the game with a female character as your date, as he will attract ALL of them, preventing them from ever dating you.
