Barbara De Angelis (1951 - )[1] (Ph.D.) is an American relationship consultant, lecturer and Best Selling Author, TV Personality, Renowned Relationship and Personal Development Expert.[2] She is one of America’s most renowned experts on relationships and personal growth and has fourteen best-selling books in these fields, such as New York Times best-selling books “How to Make Love All The Time”, “Secrets About Men Every Woman Should Know”, “Are You The One for Me?”, “Real Moments”.[3][4] Her infomercial "Making Love Work" won an award as Best Infomercial of 1994.

She was the founder and Executive Director of the Los Angeles Personal Growth Center for 12 years and is president of Shakti Communications, Inc.[4]

Barbara De Angelis (born March 4, 1951) [1] is an American relationship consultant, lecturer and author, TV personality, relationship and personal growth adviser.[2]

De Angelis received a master's degree in psychology from Sierra University in Los Angeles,[3] and a Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia Pacific University.[4] She was awarded her degree from this now-defunct unaccredited institution after completing a correspondence course.[5][6]

De Angelis has written fourteen best-selling books in these fields, such as New York Times best-selling books How to Make Love All the Time, Secrets About Men Every Woman Should Know, Are You The One for Me? and Real Moments.[7][8] Her infomercial "Making Love Work" won an award as Best Infomercial of 1994.

She was the founder and Executive Director of the Los Angeles Personal Growth Center for 12 years and is president of Shakti Communications, Inc.[8]

De Angelis has been married five times as of 1995.[3] Her spouses have included magician Doug Henning[9] and author John Gray.[5]
