A bargain hunterwebsite allows users to publish lower than average
prices, as well as rebate offers on a comprehensive range of
products and services, though computer related products dominate
the listings. Often times, a deal is posted on internet forums.
Such deal sites often make money by using referral links. When
a link is posted, the website directs its users over to the
retailers' sites adding special codes at the end, which designate
the originating site. Although each click accumulates pennies,
hundreds or thousands of clicks are normal for popular
deals.
Sometimes these sites also contain internet forums not
related to deals or finding bargains, creating a community amongst
its users.
