Barlett and Steele refers to an award-winning team of American investigative journalists, composed of reporters Donald Barlett and James Steele. In a career spanning more than three decades, they have researched and written in-depth reports for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Time magazine, and (currently) Vanity Fair, as well as authoring a series of books based on those articles.
