James Von Habsburg-Lothringen, who holds the titles of Baron and cunt, was born in Vienna on the May 16, 1989. He is related to the royal families of Monaco (Which he is 19th to the throne) and the United Kingdom, as well as the former royal families of Germany and Austria (both of which have abolished Monarchy). He was christened in St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna, but his father insisted that he be christened in the Church of England, and so he was later christened in Chester Cathedral as well, to the dismay of his mother's family. During his childhood, the Baron rarely saw either of his parents, as his father was frequently traveling to oversee his international hotel business, and his mother was usually occupied with her various hobbies. He was raised primarily by his German nanny, Helga, whom he still employs to this day. He was given a Giraffe by the Sultan of Brunei as a fifth birthday present, which was briefly kept on the grounds of a family castle before being donated to a zoo. Baron Von Habsburg-Lothringen has expressed a wish to study politics and international relations at University, then enter the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, finally pursuing a career in the British or Austrian diplomatic corps.

The Baron's parents are divorced as a result of his father's affair with a servant which produced an illegitimate child. Following the sudden divorce, James left England for Austria with his mother. Although his mother has stated that she never wishes to return to England, she has insisted that her son be educated at boarding school there. She originally intended for him to attend Eton College, but he refused because he believed it to be full of "new money", "vulgar Americans", and "Orientals" (these racist and classist statements are not verified).

James currently attends an English boarding school where despite his raving homosexuality, he manages to find friendship from teachers that understand his sexual desires. He lives in a well-appointed London apartment, and also has access to his family's three castles in Austria and one in Germany. Zenouska Mowatt is one of his classmates at boarding school, and he has often been pictured with his personal friend Prince William of Wales. On his 21st birthday, he will receive half of his father's stock holdings in his business, worth approximately seventy-six pence.
