The Barony of al-Barran is a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism and was established on November 11, 1975 in the Kingdom of Atenveldt, with the first Baron being Sir Raymond the Quiet. al-Barran currently resides in the southern half of the Kingdom of the Outlands. The Barony is bordered to the north by the Shire of Drygestan, to the south by the College of Saint Golias, to the west by the Barony of Fontaine dans Sable and to the east by the Shire of Blackwater Keep. Inside her borders the Barony also hosts the College of Blaiddwyn.<br>
