Barry Scott (born in Boston, MA) is the host of 2 popular Radio
shows in "Lost 45's" and "Saturday Night Oldies Party" on WODS
103.3 FM in Boston. His show has been on the air for 20 years.
He has a vast collection of news headlines, TV moments, movie
clips and lost songs from the late 60's, 70's and
80's.
In The Beginning
In the Fall of 1981:
Barry started his show at Emerson College station WERS. He started
out playing lost songs from Late 60's to mid 70's. He spend 3 to 4
years at Emerson and graduated in 1985.

TIME!!!!
After graduation, WZLX FM in Boston picked up the
show and the rating were smooth sailing. 9 Years later the show was
syndicated in markets at: Sacramento, CA (KGBY FM), Springfield, MA
(WHYN FM), Erie, PA (WXKC FM), Canton, OH (WHBC
FM).
Dropping Like Flys
In 2001 all the markets the have
the show in syndication, dropped the show in which the stations
thought that the show didn't go over well with their format (Hot
AC/AC)
Tonight I'm Gonna Stream Online Like It's
1999
Since syndication went south for him in 2000, Barry started
streaming his show on DiscJockey.com. A year later DiscJockey.com
folded and then he went to OldiesCentral.com and a year later it
also folded. In 2003 he started to stream his show on his own show
website, In 2004 the audio stream of the show was shutdown due to
RIAA campaign to pay the artists and radio ads.
Back On My
Feet Again
In 2003 he return to the airwaves in Boston on
WODS FM (Oldies 103.3) as his show aired Sunday night 7pm-11pm. As
a reward for his show rated #1 weekend radio show in Boston, he was
giving a greenlight for a Saturday night show called "Saturday
Night Oldies Party" where he plays dance classics from the late
60's, 70's and mid 80's.
