Basil Devito, Jr. is Director of Marketing Initiatives with WWE and has been a part of the WWE since mid 1980s. DeVito has left the company two times, once to serve as commissioner of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, but returned to work for Vince McMahon.

He wrote a WrestleMania history book which was released in 2001 which contained information on how the event was created along with how it became the "Super Bowl" of professional wrestling, and facts and history from 1985–2000 (WrestleMania I to WrestleMania 2000, a/k/a WM XVI).
