The first elections to the Parliament of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, Spain, were held on March 9, 1980.[1]

The PNV won 25 seats, Herri Batasuna came second with 11 seats, the Socialists came third with 9 seats. The UCD and Euskadiko Ezkerra won 6 seats each.
