"Deep in the heart of the State of the Art"

Batlabs (a.k.a. Batwing Laboratories) is an online, user supported & created resource dedicated to the use, operation and programming of Motorola two-way radios. Its existance is due mainly to a thriving community of two way radio professionals, hobbyists, public safety employees (police officers, EMS, fire fighters and dispatchers) and amateur radio operators.

Batlabs consists of two main parts, the permanent information pages at www.batlabs.com, and the informative and often eccentric message forum (The "Batboards") located at batboard.batlabs.com. While the more experienced Batlabbers are more than willing to help out the novice, those who enter the site with an attitude are often shot down and ridiculed. New members are advised to 'lurk' for a while, to get a feel for the Batlabs Community.

As well, any online requests for RSS (Radio Service Software, the fiercely-protected and highly coveted Motorola radio programming software) will result in the user being banned from Batlabs.
