The Battle of Commenor, between Commenor Guard units and Yuuzhan Vong warriors, is a fictional event which takes place in the Star Wars New Jedi Order series of novels. Commenor is a planet in the Corellian sector on the front which leads to the Oborim Comet Cluster.

The Front is heavily guarded by New Republic Commenorian battle cruisers. The Yuuzhan Vong, an invading force, need to get through the pass to get to Coruscant, but they have to refuel. The nearest planet, Borleias, is in the Oborim Cluster. The battle begins when Vong vessels make an all out frontal attack on the Commenorian guards, causing tremendous damage.

The leader of the Commenorian Guards, Harg Bragon, tries to attack the main Yuuzhan Vong cruiser. Unfortunately, Shirimi, the Vong commander, sees this and counterattacks. Harg's ship explodes in the attack. Commenorian guards and troopers in the air are overwhelmed by Vong cruisers and battleships. The Commenorian second-in-command, Dragnas Fa, sends in two reserves to help in the front line of the battle, to no avail. Even though reinforcements arrive, Vong ships attack the flank of the Commenorian Guard fleet, causing them to fall back to the Oborim Comet Cluster itself. The Guard ships fly into the comets; half the Guard fleet is destroyed and the rest is scattered. Dragnas Fa is killed when he tried to flee the battle, after his ship crashes into a comet. After the battle, the Vong fleet refuels at Borleias before proceeding to attack Coruscant.
