BRPG was released in September 2004, published as a
PDF file and released by the
authors under the publishing group, Sixteen Coal Black Horses. As of
2005 the game was entirely free and supported by a follow-up
release in November 2004 titled, The Creeping Dead, and
another in December 2004 titled, Battleaxe Quests.
