The Battrick Cup has been going since season 1 in
Battrick. Winning the
cup brings a permanent place for your team in Battrick cup history. The format is
similar to Hattrick's
cup system, in more detail it is presented below. A cup match is
also part of a different competition that is much larger than the
league competition. The top 75-80% of the country's teams play in
the cup for the title. The format of the cup competition is a
knockout, where the
fixtures are set with the best team in the country (1st in division
I) plays the worst team that made it into the cups fixtures and 2nd
best in the country (2nd in division I) plays the 2nd worst team
that made it into the cup fixtures etc. The teams will continue to
play off with number of teams left in the cup halving every week,
until you reach the stage where only one team has gone through the
cup undefeated, that team is declared the cup winner and awarded
£250 000 and the runner up will also receive £100 000.
