BeingGirl is a website created specificly for
preteen and teenage girls dealing with puberty. Girls can write to
Dr. Iris
Prager for help about frequent problems they are having such as
their first period, PMS, sex etc. She has an advice columm on
beinggirl. It also includes games, polls, quizzes and a chatroom
for beinggirl members. The website is run by Procter & Gamble, who offer
free samples of their products to girls (Always, Tampax). The website's editor goes by the name of
Tina.
