Bemberg or Bemberg silk is the
trade name for a
special kind of rayonyarn manufactured by Bemberg
Cell. Fabrics made from this yarn are frequently used for lining
high quality suits and
coats. Bemberg silk is a
cheaper and more versatile substitute for natural silk.
