Background

Ben Carey Was Born in Gosford of Australia on the 3rd of October 1987, his parents are Heather Carey and Maurice Heke. His heritage is 1/4 Australian, 1/4 New Zealander, 1/4 Mauri and 1/4 German. When he was 3 weeks old his mother Heather Carey moved to New Zealand and they stayed there with his grand parents one the island Waiheke for several months before moving back to Australia, this time in sunny state of Queensland. He and his mother lived in maroochydore with his grandparents again who has now vacated New Zealand for the moment to support his mother.
By the age of 4 they moved into the suburb of Mooloolaba, during this time, heather did some horticultural courses and Ben was forced to skip Pre-school which later caused him to have to repeat grade 1.
At about age 7 they moved to the suburb of Maleny, throughout the past 11 years they have moved between places in Maleny many times... Including Beachwood Road, Tamarind Street, Grandview Drive, Currawong Drive, Wells Road and once again Tamarind Street.
Ben attended the river school (a private school hidden away in Maleny) and made several friends which he still keeps now at 18. Ariel Westcott was one of his first friends, and she now lives 3 doors up from his current residence, Tom Baby, his Best friend for many years and still a very good friend, Aazan Bower, one of his best friends still despite the fact Aazan was 2 years younger than him and Jasper Cairns who is now residing in Brisbane, he sees him sometimes, but not as much as he would like.

Before the river school he went to Conondale Primary school, which is where he met Tom Braby and they've been friends ever since... when they moved from near conondale Ben had to change school, and because he didn't do Pre-school they found it fitting to make him repeat grade 1 in Maleny State Primary School... after this he was enrolled at the river school, one of the best things that has happened to him... they soon realised his intellect and raised him a year level... and also he was now re-associated with his friends...

Ben's Main acquaintances these days are Aazan, Tim Allen and Marnie Lamprecht, Tim is undoubtedly Ben's best friend, they have a very similar sense of humor and are always seen hanging out. Tim is known for his crazy sense of humor, keeping it real and of course his spontaneity.

Ben is currently studying an I.T course via distance education as he didn't want to go straight to uni after 12 years of school; he is highly considering moving to Brisbane next year with Tim and Marnie and going to TAFE to further study I.T...

His granparents are back in New Zealand again now, he has visited them pretty much every christmas since he was 7, with the exception of 2004 when he went to Woodford Folk Festival. Early this year... in April him and Heather went to New Zealand as a surprise for his grandma's 70th birthday... they stayed their for 2 weeks before returning home to australia.

Interests

Ben has a massive obsession with the singer/actress Delta Goodrem his room's walls are covered in pictures of Delta, he has both her albums and all of her singles in his room, on March the 12th of 2005 he went to Brisbane to go to an instore with Delta... he met her, got some stuff signed and even gave her a hug, this only furthered his obsession with Goodrem, His favourite song ever by Delta and anyone else for that matter is Lost Without You

He has two other notable obsessions, The Colour Blue... Ben is obsessed with the colour blue, if it's blue he'll buy it... he isattracted to anything that blue... he is fixated with is and everything about it.... the other notable obsession is Bass... the kinda that only 12" subwoofers provide... the bass that makes you think your going to die... he is obsessed with bass so much that he has even developed a gift for devining songs from their base line alone....
He also has always had a strong liking of Dragons, he loves dragons pictures, movies with dragons in them and everything else dragon orientated.

Ben's main Interests are Computer's, Technology and Music.... His Favourite Singers include: Delta Goodrem, Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson (Whom shares the same birthday, but a different year), Michael Jackson, Eminem
His favourite Bands include: The Veronicas, Linkin Park, Queen, The beatles
As Far as Tv shows go... he Likes: Lost, 24, The 4400,The O.C, Charmed, Alias, Stargate, Neighbours and everyones favourite the simpsons....
Ben also loves Anime... all kinds of Anime.. from the childrens Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragon Ball Z to out there japanese Anime like Chobits or Arjuna.
Favourite Movies: Lord of the Rings 1,2 and 3.. he says they are inseperable... but if it were a matter of life and death he would pick Return Of The King.... not far behind these movies is The Original Matrix and on equal footing.. 007... he owns every single James Bond film and watches them religiously, his favourite James bond actor is Sean Connery and he is a great admirer of his work. Also some of his favourite films of all time are The Star Wars Series...

Ben Plays Tennis regularly, he only started in January of 2005 and played for a good 2 months... but sickness, and weather etc prevent his return to the game for several months... he is now however back in practise.


Other

Ben has a very creative mind and is currently writing a book called The Portal and is currently 10000 words into it... his creativity has produced many attepmts at books over the years, but this is the only one that has stuck... he loves fictitious worlds and dimensions which is why the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genre in Books and Movies fascinate him so... he loves creating characters for these fictitious dimensions and especially giving them unique and Interesting names...
