Ben Templeton is the co-creator of the classic comic strip Motley's Crew along with his late partner Tom Forman. After the death of his partner, Templeton completed the strip on its own until its cancellation on January 1, 2000. As of 2007, Ben Templeton is semi-retired and has fond memories of working on the Motley's Crew comic strip.

Trivia

• It is believed that Wire creator David Simon used Templeton's name for the name of a character on his HBO drama.
• Ben Templeton took over the writing end of the production after the death of his partner Forman.
• He implemented many funny lines, including Mike Motley in a disheveled looking white tie outfit saying a very informal greeting to his brother- and sister-in-law while having his white underwear sticking out from his formal trousers. The waistband resembled that of a pair of men's briefs.
