Ben and the Boys are a Canadian rock band hailing from Abbotsford,
British Columbia. They make a living off of ripping off other more
prominant bands such as comedy rock duo, Flight of the Conchords,
and Canadian rock icons, The Tragically Hip. So far they have only
played small venues in the Greater Vancouver Area of British
Columbia but will soon be signing a major record deal with Sony and
will soon make it big.
History
The 4 original member decided to make a band after their English
teacher (Ms. Brayton) accidentally gave them the best name, since
And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, Ben and the Boys. Geoff
took lead guitar. Ben, being the best looking of the bunch, and the
only one to be able to sing, became the lead singer. Kyle was
originally the bassist but gave that to Evan to become the Rhythm
Guitarist. That left the drum spot open for the keyboard machine
that makes drum noises. Ben's electric guitar thing was also
considered but lost when Tye split the popular vote and became a
member. The band will be entering the studio sometime next year to
record their debut album, Sex Party, after they write it.
