'BensBargains.net' is a popular bargain hunting website that lists bargains on the internet. Ben Chui started the site in 2000 as a hobby, and developed it into a career.<ref name="Interview"> Juxtaviews - Interview - Ben Chui of BensBargains.net</ref> The website lists discounts, coupons, etc from merchants and other deal websites and places them on the site.<ref> Jim McBee's Mostly Exchange Web Log - Ben's Bargains</ref> As of October 2006, it was ranked #3,240 by Alexa,<ref> Alexa rank</ref> and gets "several million users per month."<ref name="Interview"/> Ben Chui also started Dealspl.us.<ref name="Interview"/>

Ben makes ($5.45) from affiliate deals off of each visitor. The site is distinguished by a format in which Ben posts all deals, and site visitors leave feedback and comments about each deal, often with a greater emphasis on humor than on deal-analysis. The results are of sometimes questionable quality. The amount and quality of user comments declined precipitously in 2007 when a site redesign prohibited postings by unregistered visitors.
