Bernie And The Gang is a band started by A young boy named Bernie.
he teamed up with his closet friends Tommy,Shrek, and FREDRICK
DoUGLAS. They took off in the year 2005 with there hit single "Let
It Be." Following the single they released their first album
"Around The World In 80 Days." Later in 2005 they released their
second album "Bernie And The Gang: Christmas Classics." Their first
album in 2006 was also there first album to go Platinium. it was
called "Welcome To America." Songs included Yankee Doodle and The
Star Spangleled Banner. They then decided to tour America on The
Civil War Tour. After only 2 shows there drummer FREDRICK DoUGLAS
died of a heart attack. The remainder of the tour was cancelled.
Months later they found a drummer from the Band Automatic
Silverware named Jakey Thassolaute. They then played a show in
Brazil with Aliens Ate My Radio which drew a huge crowd. Shortly
after the Brazil gig they released a new album "Live In Brazil"
with the hit single Movies. "Live In Brazil" was their second album
to go Platinium. They then took on a new tour Bernie And The Gang:
The Show Must Go On. During the tour they released another CD of
lost songs, Bernie And The Gang: Songs For The Soul. Later in 2006
Jakey quit the band to pursue a solo career. They are currently in
search of a new drummer. A greatest hits album is expected to be
released soon.
