Following is a list of DC characters who are the best or frontrunners in some field or aspect in their respective universe.
Archer ==
Green Arrow: Is so dexterous with a bow that he can fire twenty-nine arrows in a minute, shoot down the barrel of a gun and shoot at opponents while being sure to only ever maim them and not kill.
Johnny Quick and his daughter Jesse Quick (Jesse Chambers): Though not known for being as fast as the others mentioned, they derived thier powers from the speed force and therefore had the potential to go as fast as any other speedster.
Superman: In the pre-crisis reality of Earth-1 there were several races between Superman and the Flash, none of which resulted in one being determined faster than the other.
In the Earth-1 reality Superman could travel fast enough to travel through time, just as the Flash could.
In the present universe Superman is incapable of traveling faster than light or through time.
== Gymnast/Acrobat ==
While many heroes train in gymnastics, and may even be considered Olympic-class atheletes, Nightwing/Dick Grayson is the only living human capable of performing a quadruple somersault, among other prodigious gymnastic abilities.
His late parents would also be contenders as the world’s greatest gymnasts as they too could perform the quadruple somersault.
== Martial Artist ==
Special Note: Karate Kid: The greatest martial artist of the 30th and/or 31st century.
Karate Kid’s abilities exceed the others’ on this list by a wide margin.
Karate Kid has mastered all forms of martial arts and can appear to have super strength when in actuality his skills are so refined that he can smash through hard materials such as rock and metal.
Superman: Ironically Superman is often believed to be extremely handsome while as Clark Kent, though sometimes also described as good looking, is frequently passed over as appearing boring.
== Richest ==
Batman: Bruce Wayne’s Wayne Enterprises has made him the richest man on Earth in the DC universe.
Lex Luthor: Until his public fall, Lexcorp rivaled Wayne Enterprises in terms of profitability and Luthor was likewise one of the richest men on Earth.
Notable, though their estimated wealth compared to Batman or Luthor has never been given:
Batman: Frequently accepted as one of the two smartest people alive.
Blue Beetle/Ted Kord: Several characters, including Maxwell Lord and Guy Gardner, have stated their belief that Ted Kord is/was more intelligent than Batman, despite more prevalent theories held to the contrary.
The Chief: Leader of The Doom Patrol.
Has performed engineering feats on par with Doc Magnus (The Think Tank), is a top-level government consultant, and is capable of brilliant strategizing for both immediate situations as well as for events years in the future.
Lex Luthor: Frequently accepted as one of the two smartest people alive.
Mr. Terrific/Michael Holt: Self-proclaimed “third smartest man alive” and often acknowledged as such.
His predecessor Terry Sloane was also exceptionally intelligent, but no comparative assertions about him were ever made.
Superman: Superman’s mental prowess has fluctuated over time and due to different writers.
At his lowest he has been depicted having the same mental faculties as an intelligent, but still un-special, human.
Other times, and most frequently in the Silver Age, Superman has possessed a photographic memory, been able to solve complex scientific and mathematical problems, and is an inventor of the highest order.
Captain Marvel: Referred to as the “world’s mightiest mortal.” Whether his title means he really is more powerful than the other mortals of Earth has never been proven.
Lar Gand/Mon-El: A Daxamite, Lar Gand possesses powers similar to Superman and thus could be as strong.
Superman: Frequently accepted as being the strongest person in the DC universe, though this has not been definitively proven.
In the pre-crisis reality of Earth-1 Superman’s powers were so great that he could move entire planets with ease.
Notables: The following characters have all at one time or another been stated to be slightly physically weaker than Superman.
