Betony Vernon (born on August 15, 1968 in Tazewell, Virginia) is a jewellery designer who lives and works in Milan and in Paris. She is most well known for her jewellery based on eroticism and sexual ceremony.
Her first erotic collection was called “Sado-Chic”, including a limited edition of “Jewel Tools” which evolved into the Paradise Found [1] Fine Erotic Jewellery line of jewellery.
Vernon's work is made mostly of sterling silver and 18 carat gold as well as precious and semi-precious stones, leather, feathers and crystal. She was born in Tazewell, Virginia and graduated at the Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in art history and a minor in metalsmithing. She later received a master's degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy [2] in Milan.
