Betty Goo is a Boston power-popband that formed in 1994 and disbanded unceremoniously in 1999.
The band, led by singer Aaron Tap, featured Doug Fraim on bass and two drummers: Chad MacDonald and Jeff Norcross.
The trio's greatest success came in 1997 with the release of the album Gooicide, an album ostensibly about the breakup of a band.
The album received some play on college radio, particularly the lead song "Buzz."
The band opened for the The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Better than Ezra, among others.
Tap moved from Boston to Los Angeles in 2004, but not before getting Betty Goo - with both drummers - back together for an official final show on Friday September 3rd, 2004 at PA's Lounge in Somerville, MA.
Aaron now plays guitar and sings with Paula Kelley, Matt Nathanson, and Fantastic Black.
