Betty Sun Li (simplified Chinese: 孙俪; traditional Chinese: 孫儷; pinyin: Sūn Lì; born September 26, 1982 in Shanghai) is a Chinese actress.
She first entered show business by participating in the 2001 Star Search, held by Singapore's Mediacorp. She reached the finals although she was not placed in the final rankings, but earned the praise of judge Andy Lau.
In 2003 famous TV producer Hai Yan (海岩) selected her as his female lead in the drama Jade Goddess of Mercy (玉观音), where she became rapidly recognized as one of the most promising young actresses in China.
She mainly gained notoriety in China with 2007 TV-series New Shanghai Bund (a mainland remake of the Hong Kong version made 25 years earlier).
