on the 1st August 1967, a published author and multi-disciplined
Business and Management consultant, who has worked extensively
around the development of key Internet based
projects.
Co-founder
Railpage Australia with David Bromage, later
assuming the role of project director taking the project from its
early development as a key reference site for railway information
in
Australia and
New Zealand, to
the large
Web
Portal based system it is today. He continues to drive
development of Railpage in the key role of Project Director and is
the principle provider of financial support to the
project.
Brian’s has 12 years experience in the IT and
telecommunications sectors covering analysis, design, outsourcing,
management and delivery of telecommunications services with many of
these roles in a business start-up capacity. Brian has considerable
experience in the domestic and international telecommunications
industry, including detailed work in Internet service deployment,
e-commerce, IP mediation, billing solutions, systems integration
and the Internet.
Is a key contributor to Railpage Australia
and also the railfan community in Australia. A published
author, he has contributed
in the form of many digital publishing projects regarding the
history and development of Australian Railways. Brian is credited
with the stewardship and management of the content management
system (CMS) which is at the centre of
Railpage.
