Bev Kelly is a unique and distinctive jazz singer well known for her recordings for Riverside records in the late '50s and early '60s. Her style is pure jazz, very fluid and romantic. She is still very active with a new recording on the 'jimeni' label entitled 'portrait of nine dreams' with original fresh lyrics and music. In 1984, Bev was awarded a Ph.D. in Psychology and is currently in private practice in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach, CA. Dr. Bev continues to bring pure joy into the lives of those whom she has touched. Her husband Chuck Kelly is an eminent jazz trombonist.
