Practicing this Pranayama your mind becomes steady. It is beneficial in conditions like mental tension, agitation, high blood pressure, heart disease, paralysis, migraine pain, confidence, concentration etc. It is also useful for meditation.

Procedure==

1. Sit on flat surface folding your legs. You can sit on soft mat or blanket spread on the ground.<br>
2. Keep your spine straight.<br>
3. Breathe in till your lungs are full with air.<br>
4. Close your ears with both the thumbs and eyes with the middle fingers of your hands on respective sides with little pressure.<br>
5. Press forehead with both the index fingers lightly. Close both the eyes with the fingers as suggested above.<br>
6. Then press eyes and nose bridge from the sides with the remaining fingers. Concentrate your mind between eye-brows.<br>
7. Close your mouth and Begin slowly exhaling, making humming sound of a bee, while reciting OM mentally.<br>
8. This the exercise to be done 11 to 21 times according to your capacity.<br><br>

Do bhramari pranayama for atleat for 5 minutes and take rest in between if you like.


==When to do



You can do bhramari in morning or evening or both time BUT empty stomach. Pranayama should be done after your usual morning functions like cleansing of mouth, evacuation of bowels etc. If you do it in evening there should be a gap of 4/5 hours in between your afternoon meal and time you start bhramari. In morning do not eat any thing before doing bhramari.
